The mission of the Division of Business is to help Wisconsin businesses prosper in a marketplace that is subject to constant change.

To accomplish this task, the Division utilizes a combination of technical and financial assistance programs that have been designed to assist businesses at all points of the continuum including: business planning, site selection, initial capitalization, permitting, employee training, research and development, and business expansion.

WMC is a business association working to advance policies  that are in the public interest of our state and nation.  Currently, the association has nearly 4,000 members that include both large and small manufacturers, service companies, local chapters and specialized trade associations.  Promoting a healthy business climate since 1911, it is a merger of the Wisconsin Manufacturers Association, the State Chamber of Commerce and the Wisconsin Council of Safety.
